Media is a ministry and a mission field, and more voices of faith are needed.
That’s why Dianna Hobbs and the Empowering Everyday Women organization stand at the forefront of the
battle for the minds of this generation through Empowering Everyday Women (EEW) Online Magazine, the
nation’s leading web publication for Christian women of color. The mission and charge of EEW Magazine
is clear, and is rooted in 2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV which says, “We destroy arguments and every lofty
opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.”
But this is not an easy task.
We know that daily, millions of women are exposed to a world view contrary to the word of God through
mainstream media outlets. Without a strong voice to counter those perspectives, secularism can, by
degrees, erode away core biblical values over long periods of exposure.
But through EEW, women across America and around the world are examining relevant issues within the
Christian context through the lens of the word of God.
It is an uphill battle, to be sure, but one that we are winning with the help of God.

explore today's dominant cultural trends, entertainment stories, and breaking headlines from a Christian
perspective.
